New features
Automatic translation for text messages
Text messages to your workforce can now be translated automatically, so each worker gets the message in their own Primary language. Before, sites sent one message with English and Spanish together.
- Write your message once. When your audience includes workers with a Primary language other than English, Automatic translation is turned on by default. Select Next: Review and send to translate it.
- Before sending, you can open any language to review or edit its translation, or regenerate it. Reviewing is optional.
- If you go back and change the original message, every language is translated again. Any edits you made to the translations will need to be redone.
- If a translation fails, you can retry, type or paste your own translation, or send that group the English version.
- Workers with no Primary language set receive English.
- If your site doesn't collect Primary language, automatic translation shows as unavailable and messages send as written. Turn on the Primary language field in registration to use it.
- Message counts include every language version, so a translated send uses credits for each language.
Redesigned messaging history
Messaging history is now a table you can search, sort, and filter.
- A translated send shows as one row with total recipients and unsubscribes. Expand it to see a row for each language.
- Search by message text, including translations, or by sender.
- Sort by sender, audience, language, recipients, unsubscribes, or time sent.
- Filter by sender, audience, language, or date. Group messages by sender or audience.
- Open any language to see its own details page. It shows the exact message that language group received, the English original, and that group's recipients and delivery status.
Primary language is now a dropdown
A worker's Primary language is now chosen from a list (configurable by project) instead of typed in. This applies everywhere the field appears: registration, worker profiles, bulk imports, and reports. Existing entries were converted where they clearly matched a language. Entries that didn't match were cleared, so check that your workers' profiles are filled in. Automatic translation uses this field to choose each worker's language.
Workforce today widget
On the project dashboard, the separate Workforce recorded and On-site now cards are now one Workforce today widget.
- Access control projects see Workforce recorded and On-site now. Other projects see Workforce recorded.
- A chart shows today hour by hour, with the current hour highlighted.
- Workforce recorded matches the Hourly report for the same day.
- Select View hourly report to open today's Hourly report.
New Hourly report
Reports > Progress has a new Hourly tab that shows how your workforce moves through the day, hour by hour. It opens on today, and you can switch to another day or to a full week. Hours run midnight to midnight in the project's time zone.
Day view
- Summary stats: Workforce recorded, with a comparison to the same time yesterday, and the busiest zone.
- Access control projects also see peak on-site, peak arrival hour, and peak departure hour. They get a chart of badge-ins, badge-outs, and on-site count for each hour.
- Projects without access control see the busiest hour, and a chart of people recorded each hour with a running total.
- Expand any hour to see who was there. On access control projects, each badge swipe gets its own row with the zone, direction, and time. On other projects, each person gets a row with the time they were first seen.
- Group by hour, company, or zone. Filter by company, trade, or zone, and by direction on access control projects. Search by name.
Week view
- Summary stats compare against the same point last week.
- A grid shows every hour of every day of the week, with a week total. On access control projects, you can switch the grid between badge-ins, badge-outs, and on-site count.
You can download either view to Excel.
Bulk update worker profiles
You can now update a field for many workers at once. Select workers in the worker directory, choose Update profiles from Bulk Actions, pick the field, and set the new value. This works for trades, company assignments, certification fields, and other registration fields. The new value replaces any existing entry for the selected workers.
API settings in Project Settings
A new API tab in Project Settings gives admins one place to manage the project's API key.
- View the key (masked by default), reveal it, and copy it.
- See when the key was last updated and by whom.
- Rotate the key. The old key stops working right away, so you'll be asked to type ROTATE to confirm.
- Generate a key if the project doesn't have one yet.
- Link straight to the Eyrus API documentation.
The API tab is available to users with Full access and Project admin roles.
Improvements
Faster, more reliable zone access on large projects
Zone access updates now finish reliably on large projects, and badge and access changes sync to readers faster.
Bug fixes
- Phone number search now works whether or not you include hyphens.
- Bulk registering workers to other projects from the Portfolio Directory now carries over the full profile, including photos, foreman name, and certifications.
- Auto badge deactivation settings now load quickly on projects with many workers.
- On Shift anchor sites (night shift), moving a scan to another timesheet date now changes only that scan. Other scans no longer move.
