In some scenarios a site may want specific zones locked down after certain hours - regardless of the access permissions. This can be done by setting operational schedules within the zone profile.
Note - Operational schedules require the latest firmware on site hardware. After schedules are created please confirm with your Eyrus representative to ensure the latest firmware is installed appropriately.
Setting up a schedule
By default all zones are operational 24/7 meaning a badged worker can approach a turnstile/door/access pad at any time and gain entry if their badge allows it.
Defining operational schedules will "lock down" that turnstile or door outside of the set schedule.
Head to the zone profile you wish to update and click the Operational Hours tab. From here you can create one or multiple schedules for the zone depending on site requirements. This could be for individual or groups of weekdays.
Click Save changes to add the schedule to the zone.
Adding off-hour access
There may be cases where specific individuals need to access a zone during off-hours. You can add individuals as exceptions and will have 24/7 access to the zone regardless of any operational schedules.
Click Add exception to select one or many individuals to allow off-hour access.
You can search for individuals and/or filter the directory by company. Once selected click Add to save.
