Eyrus Field Services - Daily Guard Shift Check list and Instructions
This guide outlines the required workflow for each guard shift, including a quick-reference checklist and supporting instructions.
These materials ensure consistent site access control, accurate worker tracking, and safe daily operations.
Guards are expected to follow all procedures, maintain a professional and reliable presence, wear appropriate PPE, and adhere to all site-specific protocols at all times.
Please review before your first shift and reference throughout the day as needed.
Eyrus Field Services Daily instructions
First, log into the hand-scanner with your email and password.
- If you do not yet have log in credentials please contact your supervisor.
Second, Scan your badge to check-in for your shift
Then, during your shift:
- Scan every worker in when they arrive for their shift
- And check them out when they are done for the day.
- Follow the specific policy of the site foreman.
If you encounter any construction site issues:
- Report to the on-site construction foremen or identified contact.
- Follow all construction site safety and emergency plans.
Lastly, when the next shift/relief comes and your shift is over:
- Scan your badge and check yourself out.
- Then log out of the scanner and turn over to next shift.
Note: If scanner is not working, please power down, restart, reenter log on and password. Attempt to scan a badge. If it continues to fail. Notify the site foreman and Eyrus support immediately.
