Zone Report

The Zone Report includes a breakdown of all project zones and the time spent in those zones by individuals over a set time period. By default the report is grouped by zone and includes a total of time spent in each respective zone by all workers.

How is Time in Zone Calculated?

Eyrus uses all workforce data available to calculate time spent in a specific zone.

For projects that use access control and the zone has both an NFC IN and OUT pad the system will calculate time using the duration between the IN and OUT events. This will result in an ACTUAL session type.

For projects that use Bluetooth badging and/or there is not an OUT event seen for an individual the system will end a zone session when that person is next seen in a different zone. This will result in an ESTIMATED session type.

What if it says "0.00" hours in a zone?

There can be a few reasons why a person was seen in a zone for 0 hours:

  • A person is currently on-site and in that zone. The system does not yet have data to calculate a session.
  • A person was seen by the system for less than 30 seconds resulting in 0.00 time in zone.
  • The data being viewed is historical prior to the actual hours algorithm updates.
