Eyrus offers the ability to present videos, presentations, and other materials to workers when registering to a project. Setting this up is simple and can be customized to your project needs.
In this article, We'll walk you through:
- Adding Materials
- Supported Types/Formats
- What to expect during 'Registration'
Adding Materials
Head to Registration Preferences in the People module. You'll see an Onboarding Materials tab at the top.
Here is where you can add materials.
Click the Add button at the top left to give the material a title, choose a type, and add a link or upload a file. Once saved the material will be viewable by workers in the project registration form. The registration form will display the title you used when adding the material (ex. "Safety Video").
Supported Types/Formats of Materials
Here you can find details of the material types our system currently supports. (Video, Links or Presentation)
The registration form will display these videos in a player to be viewed during registration.
For video assets Eyrus supports the following:
- The share links for YouTube and Vimeo.
- Video files can be uploaded directly within Eyrus.*
*Additionally, if you upload a video file directly within Eyrus you will also be able to utilize the following extra settings:
- Video files can be marked as required viewing (this prevents worker from submitting registration until video has been watched completely, scrubbing controls locked)
- Supports multi-language captions and translations
For presentations Eyrus supports PowerPoint files or the embed code from a PPT built on a web-based version of PowerPoint.
Please note: If you encounter an issue with the PowerPoint loading, it could be due to the images within the presentation being too large. You may need to compress the images and then retry your upload.
During Registration
If materials are added to a project there will be an additional tab presented to workers when registering called "Onboarding." This is similar to document signing where the worker will need to view each material prior to submitting the registration form.
