The Eyrus Visibility app offers a kiosk mode when installed on our provided kiosk tablets. This allows the workforce to simply tap the kiosk with their NFC badge to check in or out of a specific site or zone within a site. This self-service option is ideal for small projects that don't require physical access control or for monitoring headcount and time within certain areas or zones of larger projects.
Getting Started
Tap Kiosk Mode on the tablet to get started. You'll then need to assign the kiosk to a specific project (if you've deployed Eyrus on multiple) and then select the appropriate zone. This is the zone to which all check-in/out events will be associated.
After confirming these settings the tablet will enter kiosk mode.
To exit kiosk mode or change settings tap the Eyrus logo using two fingers. This will display the settings window.
Using the Kiosk
When approaching the kiosk workers simply tap their NFC badge on the side of the screen as directed. They will be shown their profile details and asked to tap IN or OUT depending on if they are entering or leaving the area.
Once a selection is made the kiosk provides a confirmation that they've been recorded appropriately. This confirmation will dismiss automatically for the next person to tap.
These events are synced in real-time with the Eyrus platform and keep track of worker on-site status and build timesheets.
If a person does not have access to the zone it's assigned zone it will display the screen seen below. A record will still get sent to the system to confirm the badging event occurred.
