Choosing Worker Profile Attributes

The purpose of this is to establish which worker attributes (registration fields) are relevant to your project needs, so that each worker profile captures those attributes upon creation. These (field) configurations can be modified at any time, but pre-existing profiles will need to be manually edited to include any new attributes.

Let's get into how you actually select your registration fields (aka worker profile attributes).

Please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Select People from the drop-down menu at the top of the dashboard.
  2. Click Registration Preferences in the list on the left side of the dashboard.
  3. Designate each attribute as Required, Optional, or Off.
    • Required – must be submitted during registration.
    • Optional – can be submitted during registration.
    • Off – will not be available during registration.
  4. Click Save all changes in the top right after you’ve designated your attributes.

Note: There are 9 categories of attributes, clicking a category on the left will skip to that section.

You'll notice that we have two additional selections available to you, for each field.

  • Show on form:
    • You check this box if you'd like the field to appear for the workforce to fill in during their self-registration flow.
    • If you do not check that box but do have the field turned on, it will not be present for the workforce to fill in, but rather it will be available for you as the admin to fill in at a later time directly in their individual profiles.
  • Include file upload:
    • If you need your workforce to include a file upload to further verify some data point, you can check the box. And the field should adopt the same setting you've selected re: optional or required.
