You can easily design and manage your own badge templates in your project using our badge designer. This allows you to create multiple templates, add custom colors, logos, and set dynamic worker information you'd like printed (name, photo, company, trade, etc).
Creating a template
To get started head to Project Settings/Badging. From here you can click Add badge template to launch the designer.
Adding elements
Fixed elements
Fixed elements are static and do not change as badges are printed. These include:
- Labels
- Images or logos
- Shapes (rectangle or circle)
- Adjustable size, color, stroke, and corner radius
Click a fixed element to add it to your badge canvas. These can be dragged to position and resized as necessary.
Dynamic elements
Dynamic elements are specific to the worker and change depending on the badge printed. These include most registration fields and profile attributes.
Click to add a dynamic element to your badge canvas. These can be dragged to position and resized. Use the properties pane to set the field value you'd like printed.
Previewing & saving
Once a template is setup and ready click Save template. You will be presented with a rendered example of what a printed badge will look like. Use this as a guide to adjust spacing, alignment, and to confirm elements.
Printing a badge
Your saved badge template will show as an available option when printing a badge from a worker profile.
