Implementation Pro-Tips

Implementation Pro-Tips:

Here are some helpful lessons learned inspired pro-tips to set you up for success from the start of implementation:

What do you need to implement Eyrus Successfully on your project?

  • A dedicated Eyrus point person/s onsite.
    • We suggest someone who is aware of where readers are located should any lose power or need attention. (can be signed up for reader alerts)
    • Someone who is going to work closely with your safety team to manage registrations as people come to the site and go through the safety briefing. (most often this falls on a project admin/s, or someone on the safety or security team)
  • Available Power

Keys to a Smooth Launch

✔ Identify an onsite Eyrus point person

✔ Ensure power is available at reader locations

✔ Integrate registration into safety orientation

✔ Assign a project admin to manage badging

Who typically manages the Eyrus process onsite for the GC?

  • In most cases, we may engage with a few different folks onsite.
    • Project admin - for badging/registration
    • PM or PE for - approving/coordinating potential orders unless the admin is doing that.
    • Superintendent or Electrician for checking readers should there be a power issue.

When and how do you engage the workforce to deploy Eyrus?

  • When:

    • Eyrus workforce registration is most often integrated into your existing OSHA site safety orientation process.

    • As workers arrive for orientation, they can complete their Eyrus registration and receive their badge before entering the jobsite. Working closely with your safety team helps streamline this process and ensures all workers are properly registered before accessing the site.

  • How:
    • The Eyrus Registration app is where all individuals who will be onsite register to the project.
      • Including but not limited to; company info, phone number, hard hat stickers number, emergency contact info, even safety certifications and Vehicle info (if applicable).
    • They access the project specific Registrations app via our project specific QR code, the workforce can register during their orientation and simultaneously an admin would be reviewing the latest registrations and assigning a badge to each person who can simply pick up after orientation.

What you'll need before you start: (this can serve as a brief checklist for you)

Before implementing Eyrus on your project, confirm that you have:

  • A designated Eyrus site administrator

  • Locations identified for readers or turnstiles

  • Power available at hardware locations

  • A plan to integrate registration into site safety orientation
